Ashbee has an innate passion for understanding the body and how everything is interconnected. With over 20 years of bodywork experience, she has developed her own method/perspective of the body from the most superficial fascial layers to the deeper more intricate ones. This method includes Vacuum Therapy Cupping. This technique is a gentle approach to decompressing the tissue which allows for expansion and space so that the body moves more freely. It involves movement of cups along the tissue to promote better oxygen, blood flow and nutrients to the cells and beyond. With all the density our bodies take on daily this gentle technique helps to release deeper layers of what we no longer need to hold on to and expand more into our light bodies making one more aware of oneself. It’s like our neurology has a dimmer switch, we get so bombarded with life that our dimmer switch gets turned down. By decompressing the tissue, the dimmer switch gets turned back up and we can feel more. Many clients describe their experience as feeling much lighter and more mobile.
A graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy, her certification includes Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy. Other modalities include Swedish and Deep Tissue Cranial and Energy Therapy.
Ashbee also provides Energy release therapy which focuses on healing energy to clear blocks that accumulate in the body and muscles from certain emotions, which otherwise hinder the natural flow of energy. To achieve this connection, she holds space for each client in a different way. The energy comes through in different forms, ie from silence, to verbal connection, to sound therapy, to light language each session is unique to the individual. By the simple art of allowing and showing up, healing is already taking place. It is a safe, gentle, and supportive method that helps to empower and bring balance to your life.
